This is the second in the series of visuals exploring the killings of unarmed American citizens by the police in 2018, taking a look at the state of California. In 2018, 6 unarmed African Americans were killed, 10 Hispanic and 5 White citizens. When you compare this with the population of California and the demographic breakdown, you're looking at a 6.5% African American population, a 39.3% Hispanic population and a majority 72.1% White population.

This is the third in the series of visuals exploring killings of unarmed American citizens by the police in 2018 in the state of Georgia. In 2018, 4 unarmed African Americans were killed, and 4 unarmed White citizens were killed. When you compare this with the population of Georgia, and the demographic breakdown, you're looking at 32.4% African American population and 60.5% White population.
